What is e-tax?

e-tax is a software provided by the Japanese National Tax Agency that allows national tax procedures to be carried out via the internet.
There are two versions of e-tax: software that is installed on the system and a web version that can be used with web browsers such as Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

After you have completed the pre-setup, you may find that you cannot proceed from the "Loading..." screen when you open the web version of the e-tax software.

When this happens, check the language setting of your browser.

If the language setting is not Japanese, try setting Japanese as the main language or deleting languages other than Japanese.

This may allow e-tax to work correctly.
